Exodus 26)

Moreover you shall make the tabernacle (Heb. mishkan, the place of God's presence or habitation) with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shall you make them. (= the work of a skillful weaver, probably working both sides alike, whereas the embroiderer worked only one side.)
The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits (aprox. 50'), and the breadth of one curtain four cubits (approx. 7'): and every one of the curtains shall have one measure.
The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another (like the five commandments on each of the two tables); and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another.
And you shall make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge (= the finishing edge of a fabric) in the coupling; and likewise shall you make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.
Fifty (#50 = 10 x 5 = numerical perfection X Grace) loops shall you make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shall you make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another. (Total = 100 = God's election, children of promise)
And you shall make fifty taches (= hooks) of gold, and couple the curtains together with the hooks: and it shall be one tabernacle.
And you shall make curtains of goats' hair to be a covering upon the tabernacle (these were for the upper covering forming the tent): eleven curtains shall you make. (#11=disorder, disorganization, one short of governmental perfection. See v.14, must have Christ's shed blood makes it perfect)
The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits (approx. 52 1/2'), and the breadth of one curtain four cubits (7'): and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure.
And you shall couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle.
And you shall make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is out-most in the coupling, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which couples the second.
And you shall make fifty hooks of bronze (see 25:3), and put the hooks into the loops, and couple the tent of the assembly together, that it may be one.
And the remnant that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the backside of the dwelling place of God.
And a cubit (approx. 21") on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remains in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.
And you shall make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins.

-30. The Boards.

And you shall make boards for the tabernacle of acacia wood standing up. (i.e. from living trees, not from ones fallen.)
Ten cubits (17 1/2') shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half (approx. 31 1/2") shall be the breadth of one board.
Two tenons (= holes) shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shall you make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
And you shall make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the south region southward.
And you shall make forty (#40 = probation) sockets of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.
And for the second rib of the tabernacle on the north side there shall be twenty boards (#20 = redemption):
And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
And for the hinder side of the tabernacle westward you shall make six boards. (#6 = the number of man)
And two boards shall you make for the corners of the tabernacle in the two hinder sides.
That they may be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above the head of it unto one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners.
And they shall be eight boards (#8 = new beginnings, resurrection, re-generation), and their sockets of silver, sixteen sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
And you shall make bars of acacia wood (Heb. beriah, from barah = to pass, or shoot); five for the boards of the one rib of the tabernacle,
And five bars for the boards of the other rib of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the two hinder sides westward.
And the middle bar in the midst of the boards shall reach from end to end.
And you shall overlay the boards with gold, and make their rings of gold for places for the bars: and you shall overlay the bars with gold.
And you shall rear up (= erect) the tabernacle according to the fashion (= regulation) thereof which was showed to you in the mount.

-35. The Veil of the Holy Place.

And you shall make a veil of blue (Heb. pâroketh not mâsak, as in v.36. Means to separate. Cp. Heb. 6:19; 9:3. Matt. 27:51. Mark 15:38. Luke 23:45), and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall you make it:
And you shall hang it upon four (#4 = God's creative works [material, terrestrial]) pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold: their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver.
And you shall hang up the screen under the hooks, that you may bring in to that place within the screen (see Heb. 9:3,8,24,25) the ark of the testimony: and the shall divide unto you between the holy place (see 3:5. Heb. 9:11,12) and the most holy (Heb. "holy of holies").
And you shall put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.
And you shall set the table outside the screen, and the lamp-stand over against the table on the rib of the tabernacle toward the south: and you shall put the table on the north rib.

, 37. The Hanging for the Doors.

And you shall make an hanging (Heb. mâsak, a covering to hide, cp. v.31, not the separation of v.31. No cherubim woven to his; the sockets of pillars are of bronze, instead of gold or silver. See 27:17) for the door (= entrance) of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework.
And you shall make for the hanging five pillars of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold, and their hooks shall be of gold: and you shall cast five sockets of bronze for them.
