Joel's prophecy is undated. No references are made to time, because it looks onward to the time of the end, and to the events that will usher in "the Day of the Lord".
As Hosea was sent to guilty Israel, so Joel was sent to guilty Judah. Hosea's "burden" relates to the end of the Northern Kingdom; Joel's prophecy relates to the end of the Kingdom of Judah, and probably covers the last 7 years of Zedekiah. In that case it would commence in the 5th year of Jehoiachin's captivity, the very year that Ezekiel begins, and 100 years after Isaiah ends. If "Joel completed his prophecy before Amos collected his" [as alleged], then, in the period of Uzziah-Jeroboam II, which ended in 687 B.C., there is no historical background for Joel's burning words concerning Judah and the great "Day of the Lord".
Similar passages in Joel 3:16 and Amos 1:20 no more prove that Amos quoted Joel than any prove that Joel quoted from Amos. The same may be said of Joel 1:15 and Isa. 13:6.
In Joel's summons to fasting and prayer, many as are the classes invited, no mention is made of the royal house; and, throughout his prophecy, no king of Judah is mentioned later than Jehoshaphat, and then only in connection with his "valley".
But if the period covered by Joel be taken as from 488 to 477 B.C., then we have, as contemporaries:-
Jeremiah in Jerusalem; All prophesying during the last 7 years of the kingdom of Judah.
Joel in Judah; "
Daniel in Babylon; "
Ezekiel in Babylon and "
in the Land. "488-477 B.C. ?
Joel 1:1 The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.
(Which is to say, "Joel" is to say. So this is straight from our Father Yahaveh. It is important that "The Son of Pethuel" is given, because it distinguishes Joel the author of this book, from all other Joel's that are given in the Bible.)
2 Hear this,
(Note this indication of the formula of Joel's prophetic utterances.)
ye old men,
(Not official elders, but those who memory goes back farthest.)
and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?
(The story will not be in prior history.)
3 Tell ye your children of it,
(Cp. Deut. 4:9; 6:6,7; 11:19)
and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.
(Until it comes to pass on the 7th Trump. We are told this is to be a story of tradition that must be passed on from generation to generation until it reaches that final generation. Our Generation!)

4 That which the palmerworm
(this is named of 4 different stages of the locust. English = hairy caterpillar, Heb. = gnawer. The pupa stage.)
hath left hath the locust eaten;
(Hebrew - arbeh, Arab, Arabian, locust.)
and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten;
(= the devourer.)
and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten.
(= the consumer. The larva stage. No commodity will be left. Cp. 2:25, and Nah. 15:16. These 4 words show the completeness of the destroying agencies. The Hebrew reads:-
'Gnawer's remnant,
Swarmer eats;
Swarmer's remnant,
Devourer eats;
Devourer's remnant,
Consumer eats.'Also know as the 4 'hidden dynasties': 1) Political; 2) Monetary; 3) Education; 4) Religion. See Rev. 9:3-11. Satan eats away in various stages as he comes out from the hidden into plain sight and grows bolder until the flashing wing of the locust. He does things that are so bold before your very eyes, but you are so far drifted away from the truth at this time, that all you are is steeped in the traditions of men that you wouldn't recognize the negative if it came before you. How can truth be possibly taught if the so-called 'ministers' themselves are so steeped in traditions that they don't know the truth? The 'Rapture' is a false teaching. Sad day coming for them, not you, the elect. Again we are in the stage of the swarmer. The devour is coming, so pay attention to prophesy and pay attention to times). 5-13. THE DESTRUCTION. LITERAL AND GENERAL.

5 Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth.
(You better wake up, there's nothing left. You have been stripped bare [spiritually also]. The wine in Hebrew is "Yayin", or "Yayan". It's bad wine, common and made from any root or plant you can get your hands on. In the spiritual sense, it makes you intoxicated or drunk and out of mental control.
The "New wine" is derived from the Hebrew word "Asaia", which is to dread. It's a new and sweet wine from a vintage year. This wine is held out by God to be given as a blessing conferred or given by God.
We are talking about the fact that God is calling out to His people in this last generation (us), to wake up and be seal in your mind's with the truth of His Word. The "New Wine" is the truth about Christ and Antichrist which is about to be cut off from your (our) mouth. We see today laws and rules governing restrictions of what we can say, and how these laws are tightening as a loose. Truth is drying up daily, and today most churches turn their backs on God's warnings. These warnings are not for Joel's day, but for our day.)
6 For a nation
(See 2:20; and cp. Dan. 11. Put for the great destroying powers which are symbolized in v.4 by the locusts. Satan's conspiracy, one world system. Cp. 2:2,11,25. Rev. 9)
is come up upon My land,
(so called because Yahaveh is about to put in His claim. The end-time is here referred to, when He will do this: "the Day of the Lord". See v.15, and 2:1,&.)
strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.
(We are referring to a different time in our very near future; To a time covered in Revelation 9 when Satan, and an uncountable number of his angelic followers will cover the earth appearing as kind, upright men, but are out to deceive the entire earth and bring everything into Satan's control.
Revelations 9:7-8 "And the Shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crown like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men." 8 "And they had hair as the hair of women and their teeth were as the teeth of lions."
These locusts are fallen angels coming back to earth, and they are going to look just like men for that is what the image of Angels are. The "Hair of women: refers to their great beauty; however their "Teeth of Lions" are the lies and deceptions coming forth from their mouth. They will not be only after your physical body (your flesh) but your very soul.
Jesus said without the seal, or knowledge of Christ and the Antichrists in your mind, you will be taken instantly upon Antichrist's arrival.)
7 He

hath laid My vine
(Israel)
waste, and barked My fig tree:
(Mote this "My", for Yahaveh is about to recover His People Israel, as the issue of "the Day of the Lord". Cp. Ps. 80:8,14. Isa. 5:1-6; 27:2. Hos. 10:1. Also for the fig-tree cp. Hos. 9:10. Matt. 21:19. Luke 13:6,7)
he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.
(Family tree- heritage, slips away, lack of faith.)
8 Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.
(Cp. Mark 13:17. 2 Cor. 11:3,4. The elect will know Satan for who he is, and find him repugnant. The desire of all Christians who know the truth will hold steadfast just like the young virgin bride, who waits to be wed to Mr. Right. Can you pawn a fake off on Her? No way! She knows who her husband to be is.)
9 The meat offering
(Lev. 2. Cp. 2:14)
and the drink offering
(Ex. 29:40. Lev. 23:13. Num. 15:3-10)
is cut off from the house of the LORD;
(Churches, starved for truth.)
the priests, the LORD's ministers,
(Num. 3:6,&c.)
mourn.
(So when we see these offerings are "cut off" from the House of the Lord. It means that in the Christian Church they will not partake of the wine and bread. Why? How can that be? Because all, except the "Elect" of God will be part of the Harlot Church. They will think Satan is Jesus Christ; because their pastor's told them so, and they will be dazzled by this supernatural being called Satan.
The famine that will come in the end times to cause Christian's blindness is not for food, but for hearing the true word of God [Amos 8:11])
10 The field is wasted,
(vv.10-12 show why the offerings cannot be brought.
the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth.
(So why is the field bare? Because no one is planting seeds for a new crop. The planting of seed is covered over with Satan's gospel, and churches have so changed and redefined the warning in God's word. The church just isn't ready for the sting of the scorpion that Satan will place on their minds, which God will allow.
Now is the time to know the truth, to learn it and seal it in your memory so when those 5 months of the Locust (Satans rule as Antichrist) come you won't be fooled. Until we plant the New Crop (God's word) their will be no grain nor (Christians ready to stand))
11 Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.
(These are the Pastors and Priests that nourished the flocks with God's word, and planted the seed that produces more crop for the Lord. Most Pastors today are so tied up with tradition and fairy tales that God's people (the flock) are totally unprotected for what is to befall them, and they will be ashamed.
For God to have a harvest, the seed must be planted, Joel is telling us. We must be ready when the opening comes that we can give an answer to a person's question. That answer is a seed of truth that God will water by the Holy Spirit, and will grow in that person's mind, that he seek and find the truth. Then will God have a harvest. It starts with you planting that seed.)
12 The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
(The word "Men" is "Adam" in the Hebrew. There is no way for true joy to come upon anyone, except it be given through the Holy Spirit. We must be able to understand God's word, and live within the guide line that He has set down in order to have pure joy in this troubled world. We are watchmen, and we must watch for the things God has warned us about in His word. The things that will transpire, and is now taking place, Christian’s must be alert and be prepared for the Antichrist's wonders.)
13 Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar:
(Ex. 30:20)
come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.
(The truth is withheld. We will find more and more that God's word is substituted with Satan's lies, and the soothing of the conscience. A watered down, compromise with Sodomites, and every other form of Foreign Religion leaves God's house barren for the truth. Come out from among them. Repent! Give them God's truth, as it is written.)

14 Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly,
(Lev. 23:37. Num. 29:35. Deut. 16:8)
gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD,
(Beg for forgiveness.)
15 Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand,
(See Isa. 2:12. 2 Pet. 3:8 This is the great subject of Joel's prophecy, already then "at hand".)
and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.
(Almighty = Shaddai. In this connection it is similar to 'the wrath of the Lamb' [Rev. 6:16,17] in its violent contrast.
We are talking about the seventh trump, and at that time. instantly all will change and put off their flesh bodies. Friend, this is the "Mystery" Paul talks about in I Corinthians 15: 50-55. It's over, the true Christ is here, and this earth age is over. Finished!
There will be no more Hospitals, Business, nor Satan. For he will be bound for 1000 years before his destruction. You will stand before Jesus Christ either in victory, or in shame. If you have not prepared yourself to know that the first Christ is Satan and you except him, you will be an unfaithful bride, with child, when your true husband, Jesus Christ comes for His own. Jesus said in Mat. 24:19:
Matthew 24:19 "And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days." "With child" is to worship and partaking in the Antichrist's system, and "To give suck" is to draw others to follow him. You will meet Jesus Christ in victory or in destruction.)
16 Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?
(They are cut off too. Price if being deceived.)
17 The seed is rotten under their clods,
(Seed was never planted.)
the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down;
(They are empty.)
for the corn is withered.
(Died in the field.)
18 How do the beasts groan!
(From hunger. Not a pleasant sound to hear. cp. Hos. 4:3)
the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.
(This is why Jesus said, "But go rather to the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel" to His disciples in Matthew 10:6. Friend, those sheep are the people in the Christian Nations of Europe and America, and their satellites, and most Christians don't even know it.
These sheep Joel is talking about are not people of long ago, but here and now, in America and Canada, in the churches we pass on the way to work, and the store, and even ones we attend. God knows those pastors that deprive the sheep, for they will stand and give account very shortly.
Jesus said if we have 99 sheep and one go astray, we're to go after him. Today most of the flock is lost and astray, and the church world is busy in it's bingo, parties, social trips and gatherings it's fund raising and building projects, rather than to care about that one lost sheep that means so much to our Heavenly Father.)
19 O LORD, to thee will I cry:
(Cp. Ps. 50:15)
for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.
(What it looks like after locust swarm through it. The One World System will do this.)
20 The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
(The waters that are dried up are the living waters that Christ freely gives. The fire is the red from the wings of the locust that will destroy truth from the face of the earth, as it covers the entire earth. (see Rev. 9) Truth has no foundation to build on, and the seed has no where to grow, when the Antichrist arrives.
Now is the time to seal your mind in God's Truth. Tomorrow, or next week, or even next month may be to late. Don't be blind to prophecy, it's coming to pass and these new laws are the Kenites Laws, These people are not true tribe of Judah, they are Cain's children. Satan's destruction is, taking prayer out of schools, making good look evil, and evil good.
Get back into the word of God for yourself, see and understand, and come to know Christ Jesus personally. Seek the Lord your God with all your heart. and come to know who you are. America, your of the Lost tribes of Israel. Don't loose your birth right because of the teachings of Kenites. Know them for they are an abomination to the Lord Yehovah God, and Christians who seek truth in Jesus Christ.
Joel is warning us about distorting His word, and perverting His truth & His churches, with doctrines of men. We can see today where the 10 commandment are thrown out of many teachings, pride, money, power and usury, abortions, sodomy, physics, self will, and lies are excepted rather then truth, and are being taught by many pastors or teachers. The Lord God is angry and will deal with them with vengeance just as He will with those who he hates. We as Christians who worship the Lord Our God, and Christ His Son should get out of these teachings, or churches, read the Bible, pray that we might be worthy, and keep His statutes, and the 10 commandments. We should reverence Him and Study to show ourselves approved. Only then will He protect us, and hold us in the safety of His hand through these troubled times.
The Fear is reverence of the Lord and is the beginning of wisdom. We should have no fear of Satan or the world because we are dead in Christ. We truly know that Vengeance is the Lords, not ours. Praise God we have no fear in these times because whether we live of die we are the Lords. We will be in His Kingdom for eternity. Then we will know the truth about all the things.)
