Joel 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
(What is the warning? The day of the Lord is about to happen. Today through the radio and satellite TV., as well as many ministries, many are getting the alarm and hearing of the Love of God. God is sealing in the minds of His Elect. The warning is so they will know their Savior from a fake, and they will stand in that day.)
2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
(The enemies are great and strong. There has never been nor will there ever be again so many people deceived by the enemy. It's Satan's lies that make the clouds and shadows over the entire earth. Through all this a great and strong people will arise. Joel is saying the faith and testing of these Elect that will stand at this time, will have a strength and courage that has never been before.
Changes are coming so fast, it is difficult to keep up prophetically, as to times and events leading to the day of the Lord. We will see, as it has already stated, the control by Satan is in every area of our lives.)
3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
(Will a person have a chance to know the truth of God's Word? Not a chance, for God will allow Satan's hoards to strike them as a scorpion, and totally disarm them of any understanding of the truth of God's Word.
Those that think they know God's plan, but are led into Satan's camp through lies and false traditions won't have a chance.)
4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap,
(Cp. Rev. 9:9. Connect this with the end of v.4.)
like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
(Is the world on fire? No, quite the opposite. The world is crying peace, peace, peace; but there is no lasting peace. This will be the greatest time of revival this world has ever seen, because the revival is to draw people to the wrong christ. And so they are and so they march. But they climb into houses if you let them. Just turn on the boob tube and watch. But don't listen to what is said. Listen to the Word of God and decipher what is Truth and what is fiction. You’re living in that time. The world expects Satan to be coming as a dreadful being, however he will be one of great beauty, soothing and convincing voice, yet a mouth full of deceit and lies. He will promise everyone exactly what it takes to win them over.)
6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
(The "blackness" is a paleness that will come upon all their faces, when they finally realize they have followed the wrong messiah.)
7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
(Satan's followers will be so well organized and polished in their methods, that every foreseeable event or problem will be taken care of. Nothing will be left to chance, as the world marches in unison to Satan's drum. The Antichrist will be leading them and the whole world will respond. That is except for the elect of God, who know the truth.)
8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
(Cp. Rev. 9. The whole scene belongs to "the day of the Lord")
9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
(Cp. Matt. 24:43,45. Luke 12:39. 1 Thess. 5:2. 2 Pet. 3:10. A wall will not stop them for you can not build any fortification to stop Satan's army. The acts of Satan's army as it runs, climbs and seeks it's way to please the world is like a thief.
Why will the true Christ be such a surprise when He comes? Because most of the world will have already given their worship to the first christ, who is the Antichrist. People will believe that he will satisfy their every need, when they take his mark (giving service to him), the mark of the Beast.)
10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark,
(Another proof of what is signified; and that this prophecy concerns what is future. Cp. 3:15. See Matt. 24:29. Cp. Isa. 13:10. Ezek. 32:7,8. Acts 2:20. Rev. 6:12)
and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
11 And the LORD shall utter His voice before His army: for His camp is very great: for He is strong that executeth His word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible;
(Cp. v.31. Jer. 30;7. Amos 5:18. Zeph. 1:15)
and who can abide it?
(You can if you love Him. He's not mad at you. God controls both armies, and you can not be harmed, for God ordered it in Rev. 9:4.
The LORD shall seal their minds, and when they speak it will be the Holy Spirit speaking exactly as Peter stated in Acts. 2: 14:-21.
The trumpet is to sound when they cry peace, peace, peace.)
12 Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for He is gracious and merciful,
(See Ex. 34:6,7. Num. 14:18. Cp. 2 Chron. 30:9. Neh. 9:17,31. Pss. 80:5,15; 103:8; 145:8)
slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth Him of the evil.
(Not His, ours. All of us sin, look for good. These are instructions from Our Father, as to what we are to do in preparation. To turn, is to return with our minds to the ways of God; with "fasting: (not feasting) and with a clean heart, full of repentance.
We are talking about the mind here also: and the order is to clean it out (rend). Get the junk out of it. Clean out those old tradition of men that lead you away; Those old habits and hatreds that stand between you and a pure, close relationship with God.
Repent and have a renewing of your mind. Read Paul's words in Romans 12: 1-3. Study it! It's your preparation. Get into God's Word. If you seek Him, God's mercy will fall upon you.)
14 Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
(If you return to Him and repent He will come to you with full forgiveness. and with His forgiveness comes blessings. The "meat offering: is truth that will lift and sustain you. While the drink offering is the blessing that flows from God. [Exodus 29:40, Lev. 29:13, and Num. 15:3-10])
15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
(See 1:14. Matt. 5. God is saying to wake up, and plant the seed and warn the public. Now is the time to sound off, or blow the trumpet.)
16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation,
(Ex. 19:10,22. This is important. A convocation of the Living God.)
assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
(See Ps. 19:5. Isa. 4:5.)
17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar,
(Cp. Ezek. 8:16)
and let them say, "Spare Thy people, O LORD,
(Ex. 32:11,12. Deut. 26,29. Cp. Neh. 13:22. That is our Heavenly Father Yahaveh the creator of all things. He is with you, and when He is with you, you are a victor every time. You are an overcomer and in overcoming, God is with you! You can't go wrong.)
and give not Thine heritage to reproach,
(Deut. 32:9. Promise of God to His own. See Ezek. 8:13-18)
that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, 'Where is their God?' "
(False one is here at this time pretending to be God. What did God order when He let them out of the pit? He gave them that freedom to swarm. What did He say? He said you cannot touch those who have the seal of God in their forehead. I don't want to see any of God’s children sweating bullets alright? You've got nothing to sweat about as long as you use this, and keep it loaded with the seal of God, then you’re in good shape.)

18 Then will the LORD be jealous for His land, and pity his people.
(Cp. Deut. 32:36-43. These remind us of the concluding words of the "Song of Moses", and sum up the object of all the events which go to make up "the day of the Lord".)
19 Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto His people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
(You’re not going to be stupid enough to take all your corn, your cattle, your people and melt it down into alcohol. Gasoline, petrol you’re going to drill your own, okay. You’re going to have your own, and God might even bring us a different power then we ever knew existed. He will!)
20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army,
(This is what the "locusts" of 1:4 are the symbol of. The locusts do not come from the north, the armies of Rev. 9, Dan. 11 do.)
and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea,
(Cp. Ezek. 47:18. Zech. 14:8)
and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up,
(Referring to the destruction of Isa. 66:24)
and his ill savour shall come up, because he
(The invader, the antichrist of Dan. 7 and 8)
hath done great things.
(Cp. Dan. 8:9-11; 11:36. They have have Esau and a few men of the East along with them to keep them company. So be prepared for that.)

21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
(Greater than the foe himself. That's your salvation that your Father lets you know beforehand what’s transpiring.)
22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
(People might try to break this nation. People might try to destroy this nation. It will revive and come back stronger than ever and GOD will establish His Throne on earth and it shall be for ever and ever.)
23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for He hath given you the former rain moderately,
(Lev. 26;4. Deut. 11:14; 28:12. That is to say the beginning of Truth to know who you are. He gave that in a moderate way so you could absorb it and understand it. It simplified the teachings of Almighty God so you could absorb it.)
and He will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
(He is given us that latter rain now, the Truth, the swarm, the knowledge, and the wisdom.)
24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
(Know that the harvest is good when God blesses it, and you bless Him.)
25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, My great army which I sent among you.
(You notice that the first is last. Why would He do that? Well we have a little bit more gnawing to go to take place. Like on twin towers and so forth. Little more gnawing. Get ready for it. Know your stages, and here they are reversed. That army of the locust, cankerworm, caterpillar, and palmerworm., that came amongst us, and caused complete confusion and deception to the whole world was God's army. God orders it, He controls it, and sends that army to test and weed out His Elect, from the prostitutes.
Is it fair? It sure is! God told us in His Word that they were coming, and how to overcome them. Yet, many sleep on and play their church games.)
26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and My people shall never be ashamed.
(You’re always going to be happy that you served Him and for that He touches you and gives you truth and knowledge. Provide for you why? Because you love Him and when you love Him He loves you. He takes care of His own.)
27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and My people shall never be ashamed.
(The current events are part of His plan. The locust army of deception is allowed to happen by God.
Claim Him, because this is real and He is real. Open your eyes to what is going on around you, This is the "latter time". The earthquakes in all parts of the world. Europe, United States and Mexico, South America, Asia, Russia, and on a daily basis even where they aren't expected. These are signs of end times, we are closer than you think.)
28 And it shall come to pass afterward,
(After the locust army. After the "good bestowed" had begun to be enjoyed [2:21-27]: for the nation had been restored under Ezra and Nehemiah; "the light had sprung up" [Isa. 42:7. Matt. 4:12-16. Luke 2:32]; "the days of the Son of Man" were then present [Luke 17:21]. "Afterward" would come the days of the Spirit; and "this is that" which was seen on "the day of Pentecost", when Joel 2:28,29 began to be fulfilled. Had the nation repented at the summons of Peter in Acts 3:18-26, all things which God had spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets would have been fulfilled, including Joel 2:30, 31, and 32. Mal. 4.5 also would have been taken of John the Baptist if they had received it [Matt. 11:14])
that I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
(In last days, thunder. Not necessarily foretelling, but forth-telling, by speaking for God. Only such as were called and gifted could be His spokesmen. Cp. Num. 11:16,17,29. After the locust army has passed, then prophesying will take place. Many clergy say today "women can't prophesy". God say's, even the daughter's will prophecy. This my friend is addressed to a certain time, and generation, and like it or not, the time is here and now, and this generation started in 1948.)
your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
(Mark 13;9-11.)
29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids
(And whom God might call. Elisha was a plowman, Amos a herdsman. God is not a respecter of persons.)
in those days will I pour out My spirit.
(He even going to use poor people. That’s when you’re delivered up to the spurious Messiah for the whole world can hear Truth.)
30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
(That remnant is God's Elect. That remnant has ears to hear and eyes to see. Now as I said don't paint with a brush to wide. There is only one sect that we are zeroing in on here and that God zeros in on. That’s those that would offend, those that have an ill purpose. For in among those we have those that are looking for liberty and peace. And that in itself is one of the stages of the locust. Which is the opposite of the latter rain. Which brings the Lord one step closer. Why are they all doing this at the same time? You better look up and know our Father is still on the Throne. And there is a movement, it just didn't happen by accident that all those nations flared up at one time. There is an evil engineering in this world. Watch Watchmen, it’s late in the day.)
