Romans 6)

1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, in order that grace may multiply?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that died to sin, live any longer in it? (When you accept Christ your sinning soul dies, you don't want anything to do with it anymore, you pass over onto good side of gulf in paradise, the world recognizes it)
3 Know you not (lit. are you ignorant), that so many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus (cp. Matt. 20:20-22) were baptized into His death? (Symbolizing going into grave, the defeating death)

4 Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory (i.e. glorious prayer) of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.(A new sphere of hope and blessings.)
5 For if we have become planted together (i.e. with Him. Cp. John 12:24. 1 Cor. 15:36) in the likeness of His death, yes, we shall be [in the likeness] of His resurrection also:
6 Knowing this, that our old man (the old Adam nature. See Eph 4:22. Col. 3:9) is crucified with Him (see John 19:32), that the old nature which is a slave of sin (cp. Col. 2:11,12) might be annulled, that henceforth we should not serve sin. (You are not a slave to it, a habitual sinner could care less. The memorial for Christ's death and resurrection is BAPTISM - - - not Easter. There is no doubt that Easter is a totally Pagan holiday.)
7 For he that died (i.e. with Christ) has been justified (cleared from the claims) of sin.

8 Now if we died together with Christ, we believe that we shall live also with Him:
9 Knowing that Christ having been raised from the dead dies no more; death has no more dominion over Him. (Heb. 2:9, He defeated death, He showed us how to do it. He knew we as sinners couldn't make it so he did it for us.)
10 For [the death] He died, He died to sin once for all: but in that He lives, He lives unto God. (He was the pioneer, showed us how to get it don. 1 Pet. 3:18. All the way back to Noah. Freed many captives.)

11 Likewise reckon you yourselves also to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Jesus Christ our Lord. (We are family.)

12 Let not sin therefore reign in your subject to death body, for obeying its desires thereof. (Don't listen to it. See song of Moses Deut. 32, Rev. 15 on the way to heaven with God.)

6:12-14. SIN (THE OLD MAN) NO LONGER HAS DOMINION.
S t 12. Sin not to reign in the mortal body. [Dehortation.]
u 13-. The members, therefore, not to be surrendered as instruments of unrighteousness.
             [Negative.]
u -13. The members to be surrendered to God as instruments of righteousness. [Positive.]
t 14. Sin not to lord it, because we are no longer under the law but grace. [Reason for Dehortation
           in v. 13.]

13 Neither present you your members as weapons of unrighteousness to sin:

but yield yourselves to God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as weapons of righteousness to God. (Dedicate yourself, be ready to attack Satan.)

14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under law, but under grace. (You don't have the desire to do it, law is still in effect. See Ezek. 28:10-19)

6:15-19. THE OLD AND NEW MASTER.
v 15,16. Act of obedience indicated the master served.
w 17. Change in acts of obedience,
w 18. Change in commands of new master.
v 19. The master served indicates the nature of obedience rendered.

15 What then? are we to sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. (We are free from it, we don't practice it. You're not a servant of Satan, if you follow him you slave him)
16 Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants for obedience, you are servants to to him whom you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?

17 But thanks to God, that you were the servants of sin (but that service is past), but you have obeyed from the heart that form of teaching to which you were delivered. (Form = mold, you fit into new sphere of thinking, to do that which is right because you are a changed person.)

18 Having, then, been set free from sin, you were made bond-servants of righteousness. (Rom. 6:10. Don't ever say you need to be re-saved, its like crucifying Christ all over again.)

19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh (weakness, it will plead and wrestle with you): for as you have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity to iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness to holiness. (There is no one in the flesh holy other than God)

20 For when you were the servants of sin, (people lay awake at knight scheming of ways to take from people, they sell themselves out, they can't feel free, they are in bondage. 1 Cor. 10:13, He will always show you a way out)

6:20-23. SIN NO LONGER HAS DOMINION.
S U x 20-. Servants of sin.
y -20. Free men as to righteousness.
        V z 21-. The fruits, shame.
            n -21. The end, death.
   U y 22-. Free from sin.
      x -22-. Servant of God.
        V z -22-. The fruit, holiness.
a -22,23. The end, eternal life.

you were free with regard to righteousness. (He didn't allow us to be born in these flesh bodies without giving us protection guarantees and security.)

21 What fruit (Paul uses "fruit" of good result, never of evil ones. Cp. v.22. Gal. 5:22. Eph 5:9. Phil. 1:11,22; 4:17. Heb. 12:11) had you then in those things in respect of which you are now ashamed? (That "fruit" partaken of Adam and Eve, was Satan's lies.)

for the end of those things is death. (The 2nd death. Cp. v.23. Rev. 20:621:8)

22 But now being made free from sin, (By repenting to your Father. Its your choice, its you decision.)

and become servants to God, you have your fruit unto holiness,

and the end everlasting life.
23 For the rations of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (The only way.)
