Perdition

by Shepherds Chapel by Shepherds Chapel

Good day to God bless you welcome to the Shepherd’s chapel, welcome to the family bible study hour. Ezekiel. God strengthens us. Do you know how to be strengthened? You get it from your Father’s word, His advise, His council. You know, some people pay great big bucks for counseling when you’ve got the best in the world right here. You can’t buy any better council than your Father’s word when you listen to it and let it flow over the buds of your mind, guiding and directing and assuring and giving promises that you can keep. No problem. And be blessed. That’s what our Father’s word is.

Since the 24th Chapter of Ezekiel, we have been in the war of Babylon you might say, or the leading up to it. Naturally Pharaoh wanted to be a crutch for Israel but he will be called a little old reed as was stipulated when the weight was put to him. That’s an analogy or figure of speech. And God is going to speak to Pharaoh. [He’s going to take him down a notch or two because Pharaoh’s become a little too proud in his own power and thinks he should be the one Israel leans on instead of our Father. Does that sound like someone we know? It should. So to make His point real strong to Pharaoh, God’s going to reference a type for that one that was so proud in his own power, the King of Assyria which is a type for satan.] And he says to Pharoah, are you more powerful that satan? And he goes even into the Garden of Eden, or He’s about to.

For this chapter in Ezekiel, chapter 31, I will title it the same as Bullinger did, Perdition. God is going to talk to Pharaoh. Though it’s very difficult without going into the Hebrew manuscripts to understand and to be a scholar of God’s word as to exactly what is transpiring. We’re at least going to cover 3 verses to get that established for the next lecture. Ezekiel, Chapter 1, verse 1:

Eze 31:1 Now it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third month, on the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

We’re only about 2 months out here before the fall.

Eze 31:2 "Son of man, say to Pharaoh king of Egypt

Who are we addressing? Pharaoh king of Egypt

and to his multitude; Whom art thou like in thy greatness?

Just who do you think you are? Here he made all these hot-air promises, and all your control and your allies and your great armies; who do you think you are compared to our Father? And then in verse 3:

Eze 31:3 Behold, the Assyrian [was] a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.

Now I want you to know God is talking directly to Pharaoh and He’s says who do you think you are? Now listen to me and listen very carefully, don’t make this difficult, it isn’t. Assyria has no article here. And the word in the Hebrew language is not Assyrian, it is 'Asshur – אשור – H804, only they miss one little letter, t’, and it’s t’asshur, a plain old box cedar, what you in America might call a salt cedar.

You see them along red rivers and a lot of little rivers [they’re really a shrub]. He thinks he’s a cedar of Lebanon, that which symbolizes our people, but all satan is, is a little old scrawny plant. And He’s saying, Pharaoh, you better be careful. Because there was one thing about t’asshur, he was supernatural. He is the king of Babylon that we were talking about in the prior chapter. Who do you think you are? You’re nothing but a man, a piece of meat compared to that great one that cherubim.

So this sets the stage then and the lesson you want to learn from this chapter is that God shows you a comparison of who you’d better stick with. Don’t go the way of Pharaoh. Even Pharaoh himself thought he had it all. God fixed him big time. And God shall also fix t’asshur, spurious messiah, the dragon, the devil, Lucifer, satan, how many names would you like to repeat? Little horn, vial person… Satan plays many roles. Do you recognize him in each role? You’d better. Do you understand what the word hypocrite means in the Greek tongue? It means play-actor. And satan can put on many faces. By that I mean to pretend to be many things to deceive many people. Hey, he gets the job done pretty good. So God is simply saying here, wake up and smell the roses. You are claiming you can outdo what I’ve told Israel to do by letting them lean on you and you’re nothing! You’re nothing compared to t’assure and look what I did to him [satan].

Think in your mind a moment to Isaiah chapter 14 concerning Lucifer, son of the morning where he was cast into the pit. And men would come up and say, is this the ‘iysh? Is this the man that deceived the world? And certainly that’s who it was. It was satan held in the pit. So understand t’asshur. You with Companion Bibles are very fortunate because Bullinger makes it very clear of that in the Massorah. And you that have Massorahs who are able to double check it, you will understand for yourself. Assyria has no article but t’asshure sure does.

Now the subject here is Egypt as Assyrian has no article. So what it’s saying is, satan is degraded here. But listen to what Lucifer thinks and what was in his mind though he was just a plain old box wood cypress. He thought he was one of the majestic cedars of Lebanon. [And if you are ignorant of God’s analogies of trees], even He would say, “I am a great fir tree”. And the cedars of Lebanon are symbolic of God’s children. That’s what he claimed to be. But the subject is Egypt with God dressing down Pharaoh. And He just said, “Look at old t’ashure. Look at the old tree of knowledge of good and evil” compared to the tree of life.

[So this t’asshure, this Assyrian without the article, is compared to a tree that was beautiful with its fair branches that provided shade and comfort with that position of protector of the Mercy Seat, this one, Lucifer, who had been created the full pattern, created good, but he went bad. Why? Because of pride and envy and a desire to be God instead of worshiping Him.]

Verse 4:

Eze 31:4 The waters made him great,

[The truth, and knowledge, and wisdom is like water, the most precious substance man needs to live. You can go long periods of time without eating, but without water it’s just a mater of days before you die of thirst. Who is the living water? Christ, the living word. Without truth, you’ll die of a different type of thirst.]

the deep set him up on high

[Our Father gave him a pretty special position in protecting His Mercy Seat. His right hand man so to speak. Made old Lucifer feel pretty special.]

with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent out her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.

In other words watering each of them gently. Remember the four rivers that left the Garden of Eden back in Genesis? God says that this one was there and he was well watered. Naturally, this is an analogy and it is a figure of speech that is saying that he was near the fat of the land, and boy was he doing great, speaking of satan, the serpent which was really his role there in the garden.

Eze 31:5 Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field,

In his own mind.

and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth.

He tried to take over everything.

Eze 31:6 All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.

He was more subtle than all of them. Had them eating out of his hand. [Spoon feeding them like baby birds]. Genesis chapter 4, verse 1 documents that and the serpent was more subtle than all the beings on earth at that time. Why wouldn’t he be? He was supernatural.

[Now regarding this tree, this tree in the garden, Lucifer, he was real blessed, full of wisdom, helping out the other souls with guidance and such, and we can see in that how he started to feel pretty good about himself whereby we know he started to covet that position of our Father. God had created the souls for what? His pleasure. How does God receive pleasure from His children? By our love towards Him, thankfulness, giving Him credit for our happiness and life. But satan wanted that also. He was, and is, an attention getter. So naturally, when self-pride starts to take hold of someone, he wanted to be king of kings and Lord of Lords. And God gives us this analogy by way of describing him as a tree; not only here, not only in the Garden as the tree of knowledge of good and evil, but in many places within our Father’s word. Let’s take a short side trip over to the book of Judges where we get another glimpse of this one, described as a tree, where it shows his mind and heart as he climbed up in pride whereby we can understand how much he covets that position of power, and how much he really likes it when the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow, when those great nations of the children of God trusted and took comfort in him.]

Now what we have here, is a that which shall come to pass exactly as it’s stated, letting you know that God is in control especially when you’re familiar with the prophesies that pertain to the end times. Verse 8, the book of Judges, Chapter 9, and here comes the parable of the trees. You should be familiar with the trees from the beginning, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the tree of life, and the other trees… Verse 8:

Judges 9:8 The trees went forth [on a time] to anoint a king over them;

Bear in mind, at this time Israel has no king, but they’re wanting one.

and they said unto the olive tree, Reign thou over us.

Now our Father many times utilizes trees as people. Christ would even be healing a person one time from blindness and the man said, “Oh, I see dimly… dimly I can see a little bit.” And many say, “Well that’s because he was weak and he was tired”. Christ was never weak. He was giving you an example; that with truth, you must have all of it to see clearly or you’re blind. I don’t care if you have 20/20 vision, you can still be blind if you don’t have the truth. If you’re blind, you can’t see things as they are. And God Himself would say, “His planting, His trees”, so he utilizes trees many times. Now you’re not going to have it but I’m going to give you a home assignment, the Book of Zechariah tells you of the coming of the true king, in the Minor Prophets, and in chapter 9… as a matter of fact the 14th chapter goes to the very end of the destruction and Christ’s return, His 2nd Advent, and here in this 9th chapter of Zechariah in verses 9 you have the 1st Advent of Christ and verse 10 you have the 2nd Advent of Christ. But before Christ returns, you have the false Christ. So in verse 6, you can better understand about these trees I want you to absorb this well. We’re going to go a little deep and you’re going to have to think for yourself about the prophesies of the end times, the false Christ, and so forth. And it reads:

Zech 9:6 And a bastard

That’s a mamzer, not an illegitimate child, but a mamzer

shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.

Now “to dwell” means to sit as king in the Hebrew tongue. They’re going to have this mamzer king. So it will be in the end, the same as they have mamzer king… illegitimate, there is a difference and I’m going to let you do your own homework in your Companion Bible:

Side Column from Bullinger’s Companion Bible

6 bastard=half-breed, or mongrel. dwell=sit [as king].

Check out that word utilized in verse 6 and you’ll understand how I translated the word mamzer. So you’re going to have the fake before you’re going to have the true. And again, as I stated “dwell” in the Hebrew is “sit as king” before the true king comes His 1st Advent in verse 9:

Zech 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he [is] just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

And then His 2nd Advent in verse 10:

Zech 9:10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion [shall be] from sea [even] to sea, and from the river [even] to the ends of the earth.

Or the end of time, of this particular age. So I think it’s important that you have those thoughts in the back of your mind when we know that we have Jotham giving his parable to this mamzer king, Abimelech. We can go illegitimate if you want, if you feel better with it. Now let’s continue on back in chapter 9 of Judges and perhaps you’ll get a little more from this parable. They go to that great olive tree, and what does the tree answer? Verse 9:

Judges 9:9 But the olive tree said unto them, Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honour God and man,

Think about that.

and go to be promoted over the trees?

“I think my job is a little more important than that!” That’s what the olive tree said. Verse 10:

Judges 9:10 And the trees said to the fig tree, Come thou, [and] reign over us.

“You do it fig tree.” Verse 11:

Judges 9:11 But the fig tree said unto them, Should I forsake my sweetness, and my good fruit, and go to be promoted over the trees?

“Not going to do it”

Judges 9:12 Then said the trees unto the vine, Come thou, [and] reign over us. 9:13 And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?

Now many people get a little upset when they see this, that it cheers God and man, but they forget that wine is symbolic of the blood of Christ. It was the first miracle that Christ performed on the earth. So just keep your shirt on and do get all in lather until you understand the depth of the parable. Don’t let that shut you off from using wine for what it signifies spiritually or you’re going to end up way short. Verse 13:

Judges 9:14 Then said all the trees unto the bramble, Come thou, [and] reign over us. 9:15 And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, [then] come [and] put your trust

Trust me trust me trust me…

put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.

Now what are the cedars of Lebanon? Now remember, this is a parable, so symbolism is very important and that you understand it. The cedars of Lebanon are God’s children. You can pick up on that from Ezekiel chapter 31 whereby it stipulates that satan himself was only a t’asshure, a box cedar and you’ll have to go to my teaching on it if you’re not familiar with the Hebrew in the Masorah, but they were these cedars of Lebanon. In other words, they are the grandest cedars of all. It’s not that God plays favorites or anything of that nature…

And He says, “and devour the cedars of Lebanon”. In other words, this fake wants to devour God’s children and it makes it very clear and he says,“but you’ve got to trust me” Just trust me all the way and come under my shadow.” Do you know what a bramble bush is? It’s a thorn bush. Have you ever been out in the desert and tried to take shelter under a bramble bush? It doesn’t have a shadow! He’s lying! There is no comfort there! There is no shadow whatsoever as far as comforting one in a hot desert hike. And boy does a bramble make a hot fire. And this is symbolic of satan, of course, the fake. So this is a beautiful chapter when you take the time to peek behind the scene here, or to the real truth, better said. And to see what God is saying to you whereby you have a panorama of how it’s going to be in the end…

…the wing shadow that you want to come under is the true God, our Father. I’m pullng from the Song of Moses from Deuteronomy chapter 32.

Eze 31:6 All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.

He was more subtle than all of them. He had them eating out of his hand. Genesis 4:1 documents that. The serpent was more subtle than all the living beings on earth at that time. Well why wouldn’t he be? He was super natural. Verse 7:

Eze 31:7 Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters.

Naturally, have you ever been by a place where it’s kind of wet and you always see sycamores and how big the get and you see birch grow by water. You see willow trees and man they love that water and they just spread out and go everywhere. Well what it’s saying is, he was well fed there. He looked out for himself. And naturally Tyrus (another type for satan) is going to do that wherever he is. That’s to say satan, the false Christ, the little horn, devil, dragon, Lucifer… which ever name you want to call him by for he acts out all of those rolls to fulfill prophecy in God’s word. So never let him deceive you by how beautiful he looks, how well fed he looks, and so-forth. Let’s go with the next verse, verse 8:

Eze 31:8 The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him:

Now are you beginning to get the picture of where we are?

the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.

God would tell him when he was the king of Tyre, remember back in the 28th chapter, “I made you the full patter”:

Eze 28:11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

Sum – tokniyth - h8508 = 1) measurement, pattern, proportion

from Gesenius’s Lexicon 2) perfect form

I made you in perfect beauty. Why? He earned it. When he was working his way up with respect of God to become the protecting cherub at the Mercy Seat. He was in good favor with God in the 1st earth age before his overthrow. How precious the word of God. And there he was. Now you know what the garden of god is don’t you? Don’t ever forget, it’s Eden. Verse 9:

Eze 31:9 I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches:

He made him the full pattern.

so that all the trees of Eden,

So you know now for sure where we are okay.

that [were] in the garden of God, envied him.

And there was the old tree of the knowledge of good and evil that God told Eve and Adam, “Don’t you partake of that tree”. And the word in the Hebrew rather than ‘ets, in the Hebew ‘ets is a plain tree, like it could be an orange tree and apple tree, fruit tree, any kind of tree, ‘ets was fine to use with them, but God said in Genesis concerning the tree of knowledge of good and evil be careful of atash:

Tree - H6086

עץ - ‛êts - ates

From H6095; a tree (from its firmness); hence wood (plural sticks): - + carpenter, gallows, helve, + pine, plank, staff, stalk, stick, stock, timber, tree, wood.

H6096

עצה - ‛âtseh - aw-tseh'

From H6095; the spine (as giving firmness to the body): - back bone.

Atash is tree also but it’s the backbone, it’s the trunk of the body, the arms are the limbs. So he said not to partake of that body, that backbone, that atash. And satan said, “Ah come on, in the day you do eat, your eyes will be opened” ‛âtsâh in the Hebrew.

H6095

עצה - ‛âtsâh - aw-tsaw'

A primitive root; properly to fasten (or make firm), to close (the eyes): - shut.

In other words this is so clear in the Hebrew language that no one could miss it. There he was in the garden. And God even likens His children to His planting, His trees, and He is our husband as it is written in the great book of Isaiah.

Now satan is so subtle and envied by so many because of his beauty, so never be taken in by him. He is a dead man walking and he likes company. Do you want to go to the pit with him? Have a good ride. Otherwise let the seal of God flow into your mind whereby you know what’s happening because you’re being warned of your Father right now. Verse 10:

Eze 31:10 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast lifted up thyself in height,

You stopped loving me and began to be proud of yourself.

and he hath shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;

Oh, he is so proud of himself! That pride within himself is when he did stop loving God and he fell from grace. And that’s when in the 28th chapter of this same book of Ezekiel in verse 18 and 19 he said, “I’m going to turn you to ashes from within.” That old atash, that old tree of the knowledge of good and evil is going in the lake; fuel for the fire. Verse 11:

Eze 31:11 I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen;

Heathen right here should be translated Nations; the mighty one of the nations.

he shall surely deal with him: I

This is God speaking.

have driven him out for his wickedness.

And so it is. He is driven out in as much as God, after having sent the Savior, gives us power all of our enemies including this one. And that puts him out and that puts you in, when you have the courage and the ability to utilize that power that he has issued to you of believing upon our Father and asking in the name of the Son, then it’s given. That’s the way He wants it done, and so it is. He drove him out because God loves His children. Don’t ever let satan chew on you. You don’t have to. Verse 12:

Eze 31:12 And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land;

The torrents.

and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.

As it is written… well let’s go one more verse, verse 13:

Eze 13:13 Upon his ruin shall all the fowls of the heaven remain, and all the beasts of the field shall be upon his branches:

As it is written Isaiah chapter 14 where it says [that great tree cut down] and thrown in the pit, and all the people including the heathen walked up to the pit looking in and said, “Is this the man that deceived the world?” You know I cant help but turn there and read exactly as it is written:

Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Because God cut him down. God cut him off.

Isaiah 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

I’m going to play God. That’s where God’s alter is, that’s God’s place

Isaiah 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

“I’ll be like God.” You talk about somebody being on an ego trip!

Isaiah 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. 14:16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, [and] consider thee, [saying, Is] this the man

The word is 'iysh in the Hebrew. Is this the 'iysh…

that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

And of course, that’s his lot. Do you want to join it? Boy, he can make some pretty speeches and sure make things look good and promising if you follow him but you’ve got to stay with your Father. He will never leave you He will never forsake you. He has driven this one from us by giving us power over him to wear in the name of Jesus. All you have to do is order satan out. You don’t have to put up with his shenanigans, his evil spirits or anything he might try to bring on you. Or call it negative if you want to. But order it away from you and do not tolerate it. Our Father has given him the death sentence. And so it is. So let’s return to the 31st chapter in Ezekiel 13, verse 12:

Eze 31:14 To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.

Do you want to go? It’s your choice. You know everybody sails their own ship. I’m talking about you body your soul your being. And you choose who you want to believe, that is to say the word of God or the traditions of men or satan himself. Ands it’s who you listen to, that is to say our Father or the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; he’s so puffed up in himself. Hey even though he fell he is still puffed up in his own mind and he will talk you into following him and promise you everything under the sun and never deliver anything. I don’t know, how are you doing? God keeps His promises when you meet His conditions. Verse 15:

Eze 31:15 Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.

This lets you know the magnitude of the deception that will go out to the world before the false messiah. It is written in the great Book of Revelation that all of the world wonders after Him and whores after him. That’s a lot. All but God’s election and the kings and queens. I don’t know, how are you fixed friend? Are you going to follow him? Even then there will be a morning for him. Boy but will they have a chance to wake up when they see the true Christ descending at the 2nd Advent as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, returning to his children and placing his one into that pit for a 1000 years, into that pit. Giving an opportunity that many will rein with Christ. That means teach. Do you know what teaching means? Do you know what a priest does? Revelation 20:4 states that there will be a priest with Christ for 1000 years:

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Priests teach. So you will have that privilege of teaching those that he misled. What a time of salvation that’s going to be! I know that urks some people because they say, “Well that’s like teaching a second chance”. No it isn’t. They didn’t have a prayer of a chance coming out the gate with the traditions of men spoiling them and leading them into that false camp. But you do because God has opened eyes to the truths of His word. And this one, t’asshur, a plain old box cedar that parades around as the tree of life when he’s nothing but the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Verse 16:

Eze 31:16 I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall,

They’re going to.

when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.

The lower part of the earth, womb, that’s what this earth is; the womb of the living so to speak. Giving an opportunity for those that fell in the first earth age to have eternal life and to be with the Father forever and ever. No problems, no pain. Why? All of that is removed. Our Father leads us, and guides us, comforts us. You’ve got to believe upon Him and not be taken to the side by false teachings or by false spirits such as this one that is allowed to elevate himself in the minds of people if you allow it only. Otherwise if you are one of God’s elect you have power over him. 17:

Eze 31:17 They also went down into hell with him

I mean followed him right down.

unto [them that be] slain with the sword;

What sword? The sword of the Lord; the truth, the word, tongue of Christ.

and [they that were] his arm,

That is to say, those that really did the work.

[that] dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.

This word arm is mistranslated. It should be “seed”. It’s his children.

(Side Column from Bullinger’s Companion Bible)

17 and they that were his arm. Sept. and Syr. Read “and his seed”.

The Hebrew is zĕrowa` and it means offspring. It’s the same offspring that Jesus would warn of in Matthew chapter 13 along about verse 35-37, about 37 or 8, where He said “This is the wicked seed that are the tares and it was the devil that sowed them”. In other words it’s the Kenites or the tares, whichever you prefer to call them. And He said, “They’re going to be right there with him.” Those that do not convert, even a Kentie, if they believe upon Yeshuah Messiah, then they become a child of God and are no longer a son of Cain, or of the devil. So it’s everyone’s own choice. You sail your own ship, take her on the rocks if you please, but I recommend that you take them through the pearly gates and that you enter in to the Promised Land, and that you live happily ever after rather than following one such as this. Verse 18. Now understand that in this 18th verse He’s going to stop talking about this tree, t’asshure, and he’s talking again about Pharaoh now. Come with me now, come back to where God is speaking directly to Pharaoh in this verse or you may get confused. God picks it up again, after that analogy:

Eze 31:18 To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden?

Pharaoh, who do you think you are, compared to the supernatural, and those that were the trees there in Eden? Who do you think you are?

yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with [them that be] slain by the sword. This [is] Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.

Now, not if they change. Our Father is very unhappy with Pharaoh here. Why? Pharaoh helped Zedekiah disobey Almighty God and as well, turned traitor to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. God had already told him to take the people into captivity by the king of Babylon. He said, “You’re going to be there, you’re going to do it, 70 years upon you.” And so it was from the great book of Jeremiah. But no, he listened to Pharaoh saying, “No just listen and come over to me good buddy. I’ll protect you. We’ll take king Nebuchadnezzar and give him a new throne of our own making and choosing.” And then he let him down. So why is God so upset with Egypt even though in a prior chapter He promised them they would always be a base nation? And thy always have. You know, almost every nation in the Middle East is renamed except for one. You know who it is? It’s Egypt, of course. God keeps His word. It’s always been a base or small nation; never a superpower, and so it is.

I suppose this gives one food for thought. If you kind of ever get yourself on an ego trip, maybe this is a good chapter to read because God doesn’t like people that get puffed up and get on ego trips to where they really feel they’re something special. But He’s special, our Father is special. And who are we? We’re His children, we’re His servants, and we do serve Him. And do you know something? It’s always a privilege and a pleasure to serve Him with knowledge of what’s happening and how it’s going down and what’s transpiring. And the fact that you are used and blessed of God, that’s how He strengthens you. So what a chapter this 31st chapter, God is such a teacher and has such a way of letting us look into our own hearts and minds in seeing the comparisons of satan and Pharaoh and to see the difference between supernatural and natural. And let it put you on guard for the supernatural shall return, as it is written in Revelation chapter 12 verses 6 and 7. The supernatural shall return, even this one, t’asshur, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, satan, Lucifer, whatever roll he’s playing. And he plays them all. Don’t be deceived. All right God bless you.
