Isaiah 14)
For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel (see 1:29), and make them rest in their own soil (cp. v.3): and the sojourners (or foreign proselytes. Isiah sees far beyond the Captivity. See 5:17. Thus, the mention of strangers is not confined to latter part of Isaiah ass alleged by some) shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob (see 2:5).
And the peoples shall take them, and bring them to their own place (see 49:22; 60:9; 66:20): and the house of Israel (see 5:7) shall possess them in the land of the Lord for servants and handmaids (this is to be fulfilled at a later day: still future [49:23; 60:9-14; 61:5]): and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors (cp. 60:14).
And it shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give you rest from your sorrow, and from your fear, and from the hard bondage wherein you were made to serve,
That you shall take up this triumph-song (see Num. 23:7,24; 24:3,15,20,21,23. Mic. 2:4. Hab. 2:6. Job 27:1; 29:1) against the king of Babylon (One of the names for the Antichrist. See Dan.7:8. Babylon = Confusion), and say, “How has the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased! (or exactress of gold. Some codices read "oppression". I.E, How did that happen to you!)
the Lord has broken the staff of the lawless ones, and the scepter of the rulers (i.e. the fake ones).
He who smote the peoples in wrath with a unremitting stroke, he that trod down nations in anger, with an unsparing persecution.
The whole earth is at rest (one-woldism), and is quiet: they break forth into singing.
Yes, the fir trees rejoice at you (symbolic of our people. Cp. 37:24; 41:19; 55:13; 60:13), and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, ‘Since you are laid low, no feller is come up against us’. (It refers to Nebuchadnezzar's and Esar-haddon's cutting down, as recorded in their Inscriptions, p.58 [published by Oppert, Paris, 1865]. They tell how they "Brought the greatest trees from the summits of Lebanon to Babylon". Nebuchadnezzar moreover boasts that he will do it in his message to Hezekiah [37:28])
The grave from beneath (Heb. Sheôl) is moved for you to meet you at your coming: it stirs up the dead for you (i.e. fallen angels, Rephaim. See Gen. 6:2,4. Cp. 26:14,19), even all the chief ones of the earth; it has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. (See Acts 13:41)
All they (i.e. the dead) shall speak and say to you (fig., by which the dead are represented as speaking), ‘Are you also become weak as we? are you become like unto us? (he, Antichrist, is nothing super)
Your pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of your viols: the worm is spread under you, and the worms are your coverlet. (a picture of spiritual degradation. Cp. 66:24. Mark 9:44,46,48)
How are you fallen from heaven (Michael boots him out! See Rev.12:7-10. 2 Thess. 2:3), O Lucifer (= Morning star [or bright star], i.e. the fake morning star. For every name Christ is called, Satan tries to copy. See Rev. 17:11. Worshiped by the Assyrians as male at sunrise, Female at sunset), son of the morning! how are you cut down to the ground, which did subdue the nations! (Because God cut him down. God cut him off. He, Satan, will be cast down defacto in person.)
And you said in your heart (he thought), I will mount up into the heavens, I will exalt my throne above the stars (i.e. the children) of GOD: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation (Cp. Pss. 75:2; 82:1. Ezek. 28:12-14. Pretending to be God.), in the recesses of the north (place of Throne of God. This helps us to localize the dwelling place of God. No "Semitic conception", but Divine revelation of Him Who knows what Satan "said in his mind". Cp. Ps.75:6. Job 26:7. Satan is saying here, I am above God. I am above everyone.):
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High (Elyôn).’ ("Rapture" claim. See Ezek. 13:18-23. I will be GOD, that is what he is saying. Did Paul not adequately express this in 2 Thessalonians, chapter 2?)
Yet you shalt be brought down the grave, to the recesses of the pit (That pit is the abyss that we read of in Revelation, chapter 20, as we near the time of the millennium).
They that see you shall narrowly look upon you, and consider you, saying, ‘Is this the man that made the earth to quake, that did shake kingdoms; (Cp. Rev. 20. They [the politically correct] thought he, Satan, was Christ. Is this the man that took all the kingdoms of the world and brought into being a one world system? Though supernatural a certain man “ish” in the Hebrew, the dragon, Satan, Lucifer. And of course, that’s his lot. Do you want to join it? Boy, he can make some pretty speeches and sure make things look good and promising if you follow him but you’ve got to stay with your Father. He will never leave you He will never forsake you. He has driven this one from us by giving us power over him to wear in the name of Jesus. All you have to do is order satan out. You don’t have to put up with his shenanigans, his evil spirits or anything he might try to bring on you. Or call it negative if you want to. But order it away from you and do not tolerate it. Our Father has given him the death sentence.)
That made the habitable world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof (no safety, a jungle. See Mal. 4); that loosed not of his prisoners?’ (In other words would not allow the truth to come forth, but would captivate by his lies and his Babel and confusion, and miss lead the world.)
All the kings of the nations, even all of them, sleep in state (or honor), every one in his own burial-house. (or mausoleum. 1 Kings 2:10,34. 1 Sam. 25:1; 28:3. Ecc. 12:5. The kings of the earth that follow him will at least have a decent burial)
But you are flung out (out, or far away) of your sepulcher like a detested [or despised] scion, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, as those that go down to (some codices read "upon", another, "up to") the stones (cast upon those who were buried. No word has "evidently dropped out" of v.20; for v.19 does state that they were buried, but he was not) of the pit (a rock-hewn burying-place, as in Pss. 28:1; 30:3; 88:5. Heb. bôr. See Gen. 21:19, showing the sense in which we are to understand Sheôl in vv.11,15. Cp. English word "bore". Heb. bôr is rendered cistern, 4 times; dungeon, 13; fountain, 1; well, 9; pit, 39 times); as a carcass trodden under feet. (He's not even going to have a decent burial. Make a note of the word "stones" as it is used here. Remember the word "count" from Revelation 13:18 and that you would count that number of the beast from that numeration of stones. Make a mental note of it. We are in the first advent, THIS dispensation. We have the millennium coming up. People have Satan drawn up in their minds as a demon in red long handle underwear with two big horns and a pitch fork. The book of Ezekiel, chapter 28 tells exactly what he does look like so that you will be able to recognize him. Don’t allow this one to deceive you. God’s letter was written to you. Do you listen to man, or do you listen to our Father? Don’t listen to any man without checking him out; not this man or any other man without checking him out in the word of God.)
You shall not be joined with them in burial, because you hast destroyed your land, and slain your people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.
Prepare a slaughter-house (or, instruments of slaughter) for his sons for the iniquity of their fathers (see Ex. 20:5); that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the surface of the world with cities.” (the triumph-song which began in v.4 ends here)
“For I will rise up against them,” says the Lord of hosts, “and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, scion and seed (or, son and son's son),” says the Lord.
”I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction,” says the Lord.
the Lord has sworn (See Deut. 1:8; 2:14; 4:31, &c.), saying, “Surely according as I have intended, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand: (cp. 46:10,11. Job 23:13. Pss. 33:9, 10; 92:5. Prov. 19:21; 21:30. Lam. 3:37. Matt. 11:25. Acts 4:28. Eph. 1:9)
That I will break the Assyrian (another name for the Antichrist, Satan) in My land, and upon My mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders. (see Deut. 27:40. NEVER at any time did Assyria have a yolk on the whole world!)
This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched [in judgment] out upon all the nations. (i.e. the right hand of God)
For the Lord has purposed, and who shall disannul it? and His hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?”

In the year that king Ahaz died (cp. 6:1) was this rod (i.e. Babylon).
Rejoice not you (i.e. at the death of Ahaz, and because the Davidic dominion was broken by the Syro-Ephraimitic war), whole Philitia, because the rod of him (i.e. the Davidic power, and Yehoshua) that smote you is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a viper (that was how Philistia regarded Judah and Ahaz. See 11:8, which they would find in his son Hezekiah in the immediate future [ 2 kings 18:8]), and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent. (this is what the enemy called our people)
And the firstborn of the poor shall feed (= the poorest of the poor. Hebrew idiom. Heb. dãl, impoverished, reduced. See 11:4. his looks forward to the fulfillment by Messiah, v.32. An appointed time is a time pre-arranged by our heavenly Father for certain events to transpire), and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill your root with famine (see Amos 8), and he shall slay thy remnant.
Howl, O gate; cry, O city (fig., put for the people in them); you, whole Philistia, are dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and there shall be no stragglers (because we ALL changed into our spiritual bodies) at his appointed times. (see v.30. Its going to happen all at the same time)
What report shall the messengers [or ambassadors] the a nation take back? (one-worldism) This is the report that the Lord has founded Zion, and oppressed ones of His People shall flee for refuge to it. (See Acts 17:19-26)
