Divided

Newsletter #376 - February 2010 - By Shepherds Chapel - http://www.shepherdschapel.com/

Our Father divides His children. He has dived the believers from the unbelievers as far as blessings and prosperity is concerned. The believers receive blessing. The unbelievers don't. Let's begin our study in 2 Corinthians.

2 Corinthians 6:13 Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.

Paul wanted them to find salvation, but also grow in the Word. He wanted them to find their destiny.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

This has nothing to do with planting seeds. To yoke yourself to someone is to do God's work with them. Don't ever yoke yourself to a unbeliever. They will hold you back. You won't have time to do God's work, because you are so busy trying to keep the unbeliever on track.

2 Corinthians 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

The answer to all these questions is nothing. Separate yourself from unbelievers, Satan and idols. The Holy Spirit dwells in none of them, but He dwells in you.

2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore "come out from among them, and be ye separate," saith the Lord, "and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters," saith the Lord Almighty.

Divide yourself from the unclean. Don't become yoked with unbelievers in doing God's work. God won't bless your efforts, and you won't be a blessing to others. Put on the yoke of Christ, and receive God's blessings. Turn with me to the Book of Isaiah.

Isaiah 52:8 Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.

This is prophecy regarding the retaking of Zion. There will be no unbelievers there. That is why you don't want to be yoked to them. All will see eye to eye.

Isaiah 52:9 Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted His people, He hath redeemed Jerusalem.

There is a time identified in this verse. We are talking about the 2nd advent. God is preparing a people for this time. You may have a destiny.

Isaiah 52:10 The LORD hath made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

When God reveals His strength, our enemies don't stand a chance. But His salvation, the only salvation, is available to all on earth.

Isaiah 52:11 Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.

Separate yourself from the unclean. Those that bear the vessels of God are those that do His work. Divide yourself from the unclean practices of the heathen.

Isaiah 52:12 For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your reward.

With God protecting your front and back, what could we possibly fear? The Lord has you covered.

Isaiah 52:13 Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.

His Servant, Jesus Christ, will be King of kings, and Lord of lords. It doesn't get any higher, friends. That is Who you want to be yoked with.

Isaiah 52:14 As many were astonied at Thee; His visage was so marred more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men:

Jesus took the stripes, and we receive the healing.

Isaiah 52:15 So shall He sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

On the 1st day of the millennium every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Turn with me to the Book of Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 51:44 And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he hath swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall. 45 My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

Divide and separate yourself from Babylon. If you aren't with the Father, you are against Him.

Jeremiah 51:46 And lest your heart faint, and ye fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; a rumour shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumour, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.

In other words, in the 3rd year it is going to happen. Students of the Word know the reign of antichrist has been shortened to 5 months. Then Jesus returns.

Jeremiah 51:47 Therefore, behold, the days come, that I will do judgment upon the graven images of Babylon: and her whole land shall be confounded, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

It is written; it will come to pass. Watch and observe.

Jeremiah 51:48 Then the heaven and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for Babylon: for the spoilers shall come unto her from the north, saith the LORD.

We know in the Book of Revelation it is the merchants of deception and false teaching that lament for Babylon.

Jeremiah 51:49 As Babylon hath caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the earth. 50 Ye that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind. 51 We are confounded, because we have heard reproach: shame hath covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the LORD's house. 52 "Wherefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will do judgment upon her graven images: and through all her land the wounded shall groan. 53 Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from Me shall spoilers come unto her, saith the LORD."

I t doesn't matter how Babylon fortifies herself, the spoilers God send will be unstoppable. God wins!

Jeremiah 51:54 A sound of a cry cometh from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans:

Here the prophecy switches to the land. The land of Babylon, which is Iraq, has seen a lot of destruction, and we have lost a lot of troops over there in recent years.

Jeremiah 51:55 Because the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered:

Babylon is going down, friends. Don't go down with her. Divide yourself from her. Yoke yourself with Jesus Christ, not with the heathen of Babylon. Let's continue our study in the Book of Matthew.

Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory:

This happens at only one time. You should recognize the time as the beginning of the millennium.

Matthew 25:32 And before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

This division will occurs just as sure as Jesus Christ is returning to earth. You want to be with the sheep, when this division comes to pass.

Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, 'Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

God's elect earned this inheritance in the 1st earth age. This is the 1st resurrection of Revelation 20:4-6.

Matthew 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave Me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took Me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed Me: I was sick, and ye visited Me: I was in prison, and ye came unto Me.'

Think spiritually on these verses. Give those in need the Living Water. Feed those that are spiritually starving to death the meat of God's Word, not milk. Cloth them with the gospel armor of Ephesians Chapter 6.

Matthew 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, 'Lord, when saw we Thee an hungred, and fed Thee? or thirsty, and gave Thee drink? 38 When saw we Thee a stranger, and took Thee in? or naked, and clothed Thee? 39 Or when saw we Thee sick, or in prison, and came unto Thee?'

Sharpen up for me. Listen and learn.

Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, 'Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me'.

Plant seeds of truth with your lost brothers and sisters. When they sprout, you can watch the blinders fall from their eyes. They instinctively want to serve the living God. God's Word changes lives! God's Word gives you a purpose. When you help the least of God's brethren, you help Him. That, my friends, goes in the book. What about the goats?

Matthew 25:41 Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, 'Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and Ye gave Me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took Me not in: naked, and ye clothed Me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited Me not.' 44 Then shall they also answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when saw we Thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto Thee?'

They didn't share the Living Water or the meat of God's Word with our lost brothers ans sisters.

Matthew 25:45 Then shall He answer them, saying, 'Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to Me.' 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."

There will be a division. The choice is not a difficult one to make. Choose eternal life.

In His service,
Arnold Murray
