19. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF CHRIST'S GLORY IN CREATION, AND REVELATION.
S G H 1-4-. The heavens. The word written therein (8 lines).
J -4-6. In them the sun (6 lines).
G H 7-10. The Scriptures. The word written therein (8 lines).
J 11-14. In them Your servant (6 lines).

The position of the Psalm in the Structure, shows that it corresponds with Psalm 29, with its two answering parts, the "Glory and the "Voice" of Yahaveh.

The verbs in the 1st part (1-6) are literary, and in the 2nd part astronomical, thus interlacing and uniting the 2 parts in one whole

1-6. THE HEAVENS.
G a 1. The heavens.
    b 2. Their testimony. Incessant.
     c 3. Their words. Inaudible.
    b 4-. Their testimony. Universal.
   a -4-6. The heavens.

(A Psalm of David. One Psalm: one whole, not two old scraps strung together by some "redactor".)

Psalm 19)

1 The heavens rehearse (implying repetition. Cp. 71:15. Gen. 24:66) the glory of GOD (El);
And the expanse is setting forth (cp. 1st appearance Gen. 3:11. Pss. 97:6; 111:6) His handiwork. (If you don't see God's hand in the creation of heaven and earth, you need a lot of help.)

2 Day after day constantly pours forth (Heb. nâba', to tell forth, or prophecy) speaking (see 18:30),
And night after night shows information (or intelligence. Nature speaks and shows the knowledge of God. We should cleverly devise to pay attention to this wisdom.)

3 There is no speech nor words,
Their sound is not heard. (I.e. "their voice is not heard".)

4 Their inheritance (Heb. measuring, or allotting line. Put for inheritance. So Rom. 10:18, thus connecting the written word. See v.7) is gone out through all the earth (as created), and their teachings (or sayings. See 18:30) to the end of the world. (as inhabited)
In them has He set a tent for the sun, (Or, house. Hence the signs of the Zodiac are called the "houses" of the sun, because in the he, the sun, moves and dwells, and completes his circuit. This corresponds with God's servants dwelling and moving in the written "Word" [v.11].)

5 And be as a bridegroom coming out of his bridal canopy (Heb. chuppâh. 1st occ.; elsewhere, only in Isa. 4:5. Joel 2:16),
Rejoices as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven,
And his circuit to the ends of it:
And there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. (There is nothing that can separate the sun from the heavens, and nothing that can separate God from you. God uses nature to communicate with His children. Are you listening?)

7 The law (note the synthetic parallelism of the 2nd half of this Psalm, which compares the written word in the Scripture with the written words written in the heavens, and preserved in the names of the signs of the Zodiac and the constellations. Note in vv. 7-9 the 6 titles of the Word, its 6 attributes, and its 6 effects) of the LORD (Yahaveh. The Covenant God, in contrast with El [v.1] the Creator. Occ. 7 times in the latter half of this Psalm) is perfect (like all His other works. Note the 6 words in vv.7-9), returning (as the sun returns in the heavens, so here the same word is used of the sinners converting [or returning]. Note that all the verbs in this 2nd half are astronomical, as those in the 1st half are literary) the soul:
The wisdom (cp. 89:37) of the LORD is faithful and enduring (as the sun is "the faithful witness in the heavens" [89:37), making wise the simple. (Observe God's work and study His Word. You will become wise as a result. If you listen to men, some "nutcase" might come along and tell you global warming is a huge problem. God tells you there will always be hot and cold, and summer and winter (Genesis 8:22). Are you going to listen to some "nutcase", or God. Cleverly separate the falsehoods of man from the truth of your Father.)
8 The precepts (Heb. pikkûdîm. Found only in the Psalms, and in the Plural) of the LORD are righteous (i.e. equitable and just), rejoicing the heart:
The commandment of the LORD is pure, giving light (as the sun [Gen. 1:15,17,18. Isa. 60:19) to the eyes. (God gives you eyes to see and ears to hear. If any lack wisdom, ask Father for wisdom. He will give it to you. He will enlighten you (James 1:5).)
9 The reverence of the LORD is cleansing (especially Levitically. Cp. Lev. 16:30. Num. 8:7:21. Ezek. 36:33, &c.), enduring for ever:
The judicial requirements of the LORD are faithful (in perpetuity) and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold:
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. (God's judgments are precious. Don't ever forget that judgment can brings chastisement, but judgment can also bring rewards.)

11 Moreover in them (Heb. bâhem, as in v.4, going about the Scriptures, moving and dwelling in the written Word, as the sun does in the heavens. Cp. 1 Tim. 4:15; 3:14) is your servant enlightened (hence taught or admonished):
And in observing (or watching; as observers watch the heavenly bodies. Cp. 130:6. Isa. 21:11) of them great [is] the reward.
12 Who can discern his (not in the Hebrew text) wanderings? (Like those of the "planets" [= wanderers])
Clear (or acquit) You me from hidden things (things that are not discerned).
13 Hold back (or restrain, as the motion of the heavenly bodies are controlled. 1st occ. Gen. 20:6; 22:12,16; 39:9. Cp. 1 Sam. 25:39, &c.) Your servant also from presumptuous sins (Heb. keep back presumptuous [men] from me);
Let them not rule me (as the sun and moon rule the day and night [Gen. 1:18. Ps. 136:8,9): then shall I be upright,
And I shall be innocent from much transgression. (The great transgression is apostasy, or falling away from God. The great transgression is to worship antichrist. There is no way you are going to be deceived, if you heed the warnings found in God's Word.)
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, come with acceptance before You,
O LORD, my rock (Heb. zûr. See 18:1,2), and my Redeemer. (See Ex. 6:6. The Psalm begins with the creator and ends with the Redeemer. Cp. the heavenly worship, where we have the same 2 in the same order [Rev. 4:11 with 5:9. Watch nature, Watch the signs and season. But most importantly, cleverly separate falsehoods from truth. You won't ever be deceived by antichrist, if you will do these things.)
