Job 26)

But Job replied [to Bildad] and said,
"How have you helped him that is without power? how save you the arm that has no strength?
How have you counseled him that has no wisdom? (See Prov. 2:7) and how have you plentifully declared the thing that is? (How do you go about it?)
To whom have you uttered words? and whose spirit came from you? (A good one or a bad one. Many people think its doing good, but its coming from an evil spirit.)

[The place where] the Rephaim (the offspring of the fallen angels, akin to the Nephilim [Gen. 6:4 and Isa. 26:14,19) stay [which is] beneath the waters (not a place, but people), and the things that are therein. (This place thus answers to the other place, Sheol, the grave in the next verse.)
Hell is naked before Him, and destruction (Heb. Abaddon = Satan = wander to perish) has no covering. (To you, if you can see.)
He stretches out the north (see Ps. 75:6. Isa. 14:13,14) over the empty place, and hangs the earth not on any thing.
He binds up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them. (Full of water, but doesn't bust like a balloon.)
He holds back the face of His moon, and spreads His cloud upon it. (Makes it dark.)
He has compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end. (God's overthrow of Satan.)
The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at His reproof.
He divides the sea with His power, and by His understanding (wisdom, God's way) He smites through the proud.
By His spirit He has garnished the heavens; His hand has formed the crooked serpent. (He placed it for a sign so you would know Satan is at work. See birth pains.)
Lo, these are parts of His ways: but how little a portion is heard of Him? but the thunder of His power who can understand? (You can, if you get into it.)
