Genesis 8)

1 And God remembered (Fig. of Speech) Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a spirit to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged (lessened):
2 The fountains also of the deep and the flood gates of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;
3 And the waters returned from of the earth continually; and after the end of 150 days the waters were abated.

Sept. 23-24th

4 And the ark rested (Saturday, the Sabbath day, see 7:4) in the seventh month, upon the mountains of Ararat (= high holy ground).

December 24-25th

5 And the water decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.

February 1-2nd, 2347 B.C.

6 And it came to pass after 40 days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:
7 And he sent forth a raven (an unclean bird), which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
8 Also he sent forth a dove (a clean bird) from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;
9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned to him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth; then he put forth his hand and too her, and pulled her in to him into the ark.

February 8-9th

10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;
11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf (newly sprouted) plucked off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.

February 16-17th

12 And he stayed yet another 7 days; and sent forth the dove; which didn't return again to him any more.

March 20-21st

13 And it came to pass in the 601st year of Noah's life, in the first month, the first day of the month (6 such important dates in the Bible, here, Ex. 40:2, 2 Chron. 29:17, Ezra 7:9; 10:17, Ezek. 45:18), the waters were dried up from off the earth; and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

May 17-18th

14 And in the second month, on the 27th day of the month (completing one solar year plus 10 days. See 7:11), was the earth dried.
15 And God spoke to Noah, saying,
16 "Go forth from the ark, you and your wife, and your sons, and your sons' wives with you. (Always wait for God's leading)
17 Bring forth with you every living thing that is with you, of all flesh (2nd witness to 6:10. Flesh gets a brand new start. Watch how quick someone will mess up), both of the fowl, and of the cattle, and of every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth, that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful and multiply upon the earth."
18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him:
19 Every beast, every creeping thing, every fowl, whatever creeps upon the earth, after their kinds (God always expects kind after kind. He does not like hybrids. It causes pollution. It is not necessarily a sin against God, it is a sin against flesh), went forth out of the ark.
20 And Noah built an altar to the Lord (first one mentioned in Scripture): and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

  F 9:8-17. God's covenant with Naoh.

21 And the Lord smelled a sweet savor (= rest, acquiescence); and the Lord said in His heart (Fig. of Speech, condescension), "I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; although the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth (the flesh will always argue with the inner man); neither will I again smite any more every living thing as I have done. (i.e. not with water. See 9:11-17 See Isa. 54:9,10.)
22 While the earth remains (The Lord's covenant with Noah was unconditional in connection with the earth), seed-time, and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease." (Eternal. No nuclear winter or hot house [global warming]. He will intercede!)
