GENESIS.

"THE WORLD THAT THEN WAS". (2 Pet. 3:5,6). Creation in eternity past, to which all Fossils and "Remains" belong.

Genesis 1)

1 ¹In the beginning ²God created the heaven and the earth.
(¹When was the beginning? This verse doesn't state God created the earth 6,000 years ago. It was hundreds of millions of years ago. Time means nothing to our Father. See Prov. 8:22-26. There was a firmament all around. You didn't have the rays of the sun that destroy as they do today [aging]. You didn't have the jet stream curving and seasons ripping everything apart like El Nino. God had it all under control. It was lush over the whole planet before what happened in v.2. It will return back to this in Rev. 21. Created - Occurs 6 times in this Introduction. Other acts 40 times. See CREATION versus Evolution. Perfection implied. Deut. 32:4. 2 Sam. 22:31. Job 38:7. Ps. 111; 147:3-5. Prov. 3:19. Ecc. 3:11-14. [Even the Greek Cosmos = ornament. Ex. 33:4-6. Isa. 49:18. Jer. 4:30. Ezek. 7:20. 1 Pet. 3:3. the heaven and the earth. With Hebrew Particle 'eth before each, emphasizing the Article "the", and thus distinguishing both from 2:1. "Heavens" in Heb. always in pl. See Deut. 4:26. ²God = Heb. Elohim. 1st occ. connects it with creation, and denotes, by usage, the Creator in relation to His creatures. The Hebrew accent Athnach places the emphasis, and gives pause, on "God" as being Himself the great worker, separating the Worker from His work)

2 ¹And the earth ²was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
(¹And - Fig. Polysyndeton, by which in the 34 verses of this introduction, each one of 102 separate acts are emphasized; and the important word "God" in v.1 is carried like a lamp through the whole of this introduction [1:1-2:3]. ²The word "was" should be translated "became". God created the earth to be inhabited. Wisdom was with God. Also rendered came to pass , Gen. 4:14; 22:1; 23:1; 27:1. Josh. 4:1; 5:1. 1 Kings 18:32. Isa. 14:24, &c. Also rendered be [in the sense of become], v. 3, &c., and where the verb "to be" is not in italic type. Hence, Ex. 3:1, kept = became keeper, quit = became men, &c. The earth became tohu va bohu, that is to say waste. Not created void [Isa. 45:18], but became void [Gen. 1:2. 2 Pet. 3:5,6]. The Enemy has done this [Matt. 13:25, 28, 39. Cp. 1 Cor. 14:33]. See THE SO-CALLED "CREATION TABLETS." One third of God's children followed Satan at Satan's rebellion [Rev. 12:1-4. Cp. Ezek. 28. Jer. 4:22-31. Isa. 45:18,19]. Rather than destroy 1/3 of His children, God destroyed the first earth age. 2 Pet. 3:6 also documents that the first earth AGE was destroyed, and continues on to declare there will be a third earth AGE. So here, God put the earth back in order. Beginning of the heaven and earth AGE which are now. See Gen. 2:7; 4:9; 9:15. Ex. 32:1. Deut. 27:9. 2 Sam. 7:24, &c.

The word "became" - - hâyâh - haw-yaw'

A primitive root (compare H1933); to exist, that is, be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary): - beacon, X altogether, be (-come, accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), continue, do, faint, fall, + follow, happen, X have, last, pertain, quit (one-) self, require, X use.

In other words, the world wasn’t created void and without form, it “became” void and without form. When? When Satan rebelled, when a third of God’s children began to follow Satan; there was turmoil and God did destroy that first earth age and brought in this earth age.

There was the overthrow of Satan’s power spoken of in Ezekiel 28 as to how he was actually an archangel that was supposed to cover the mercy seat as it is written in that twenty-eighth chapter of Ezekiel. And he began to take pride within himself, and he began to have the children of God worship him instead of God, because of one thing –pride, pride within self. So it’s important that you know the earth wasn’t made that way it became void and without form. Why? God destroyed that that was. And it is written. See also Isa. 45 beginning at verse 18)

4000 B.C. or 11,000 B.C. (if you consider one day with the Lord = 1,000 years with man.)

And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
(= The beginning of the "heavens and earth which are now", i.e put it back in order. 2 Pet. 3:7. It is even so in the New Creation. The Spirit moves [John 3:3-8. Rom. 8:5,9,14. Gal. 4:29. 2 Cor. 5:17,18].)
3 And God said, "Let there be light:" and there was light. (God said occ. 10 times in Introduction. This begins each day: 3rd day twice; 6th day four times. The second act is also of God [1 Pet. 1:23-25]. All prophecies given concerning God's children are in days-solar. All prophecies given concerning Satan's children are in months-moons-night-darkness. Moon calendar is chaotic, it is a mess. Solar calendar is perfect, it never changes. Was = became as in 1:2. It is even so in the New Creation: His Word enters and gives light [Ps. 119:130. 2 Cor. 4:6])
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. (Good = beautiful. Each days work called "good", except 2nd, because nothing created that day: only division made. Compared to His glory He is the only light that we need. Sometimes you have to shut your flesh eyes and open your spiritual eyes to see and understand what our Father wants us to know. See Rev. 2:1. Light of God, Darkness of Satan)
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And the evening and the morning was day one. (Evening...morning put for a full day. The beginning and end of anything is put for the whole of it. Cp. Ecc. 3:11; 10:13; 11:6. Ps. 92:2. Isa. 41:4; 44:6; 48:12. Rev. 1:8,11,17; 2:8; 21:6; 22:13. First denotes unity, and commencement)

6 And God said, "Let there be an firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters." (Firmament = expanse. Something spread out. He caused the water to recede and put part of it in the atmosphere. Much of this water came down in Noah's flood.)
7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters that were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse: and it was so. (In other words, He caused the water to recede. He put part of the water back into firmament which means into the heavens or atmosphere. And so it was. If you use your mind for just a moment you might know where much of that water came from that brought that flood to pass. If there was water overhead that filtered)
8 And God called the firmament Heaven (= high, lofty. That is to say that which was above, that expanse. The heavenly dimension separated from the new earthly dimension). And the evening and the morning was day two. (He brought both the earth and the heaven into the day of this earth age, alright. The earth and heaven were both already here; heaven being naturally according to wherever God is. He didn’t build another earth or create another earth, He simply caused the waters to recede and move upward into the atmosphere whereby land again could become a habitation)

9 And God said, "Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear:" and it was so. (Now with Noah’s flood it took several days and months for the water to recede. Here it was just, “bang”. God spoke, and so it happened)
10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called He Seas: and God saw that it was good. (i.e. coming back to beauty as it once was. Not chaotic. Not disturbed anymore as it was into a nothingness (tôhû - bôhû), as we discussed in verse two. But that is was coming back to that beauty that we have. I wonder when the plates moved and so-forth. You know, we found those animals of African likeness in Nebraska at Ashfall. I mean it’s absolute. There’s no getting around it; rhinoceroses and camels and birds of Africa that died about ten million years ago in Nebraska. So interesting, interesting as we look at how God moved this and how He moved that)
11 And God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth:" and it was so. (After his kind. Occ. 10 times [in vv. 11,12,21,24,25]. Evolution has no answer to this. Seed in itself - Heb. seeding seed. 1st the herb, then the seed. 1st the tree, then the fruit)
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was beautiful.
13 And the evening and the morning were the day three.

14 And God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: (Lights - Heb. mâ'ôr = light-holders or luminaries [Ex. 25:6; 27:20; 35:14, &c. Cp. v. 3. Signs. Heb. 'ôwth = things to come [Jer. 10:2]. Seasons. Heb. mô'êd = appointed times [from y'ed, to appoint]. Occurs 3 more times in Gen. See 17:21; 18:14; 21:2. You need these to become a successful farmer and seed planter)
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth:" and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. (Two = the two, i.e. the sun and the moon. The stars also, i.e the Zodiac. Don't make a religion out of it just use it to observe. God's plan is perfect)
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was beautiful.
19 And the evening and the morning was day four.

   8,000 B.C.

20 And God said, "Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven." (Life = soul, Heb. nephesh, as in vv. 21,24,30; 2:7, 9:4,5,10,12,15,16. Lev. 11:46, &c. See The use of Nephesh in the Old Testament)
21 And God created great sea-creatures, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was beautiful.
22 And God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth." (Blessed. See v. 1. Note the threefold blessing - 1:22,28; 2:3)
23 And the evening and the morning was day five. (Evening...morning. See v. 5. #5 = grace. No blessing till the 5th day, when there was living souls to bless)

24 And God said, "Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind:" and it was so. (Creature = soul, Heb. nephesh. See v.20)
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creeps upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was beautiful.
26 And God said, "¹Let us make ²man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth." (¹Let us. The Divine purpose is here stated. In the Hebrew = elohim without the article = the heavenly host. Image...likeness. Figure of speech. One thing, not two = "In the likeness of our image", namely of Elohim [not Yahaveh], the 2nd Person, who had taken creature form to create [Col. 1:15. Heb. 1:3. Rev. 3:14; cp. Prov. 8:22-31, and 1 Cor. 11:3-11]. Refers only to outward form, not to attributes. So He afterward took human form in order to redeem [John 1:14]. Cp. Rev. 4:11 with 5:9. In any case the "image and likeness" is physical, not moral. Man fell and is in moral ruin, but some physical likeness to 'êlohim still remains. Gp. Gen. 9:6. 1 Cor. 11:7. Jas. 3:9. No indication that the similitude was ever lost. Gen. 5:3. See note on 3:7. ²Man. Heb. 'âdâm (no article) = mankind, all the races included)
27 So ¹God created ²man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. (¹God - The Heb. accent [Pasek] places the emphasis on God, the Carrier-out of His purpose. ²In the Hebrew 'âdâm without the article means mankind in general, all the races included. Why was mankind created last? That the heretics might not say there was a companion with Him "in the work": i.e lest man should have claimed a share of it)
28 And God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and ¹replenish the earth, and subdue it: and ²have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth." (¹Replenish - Why this word if there was nothing there to begin with? God took man, not in the flesh, but angelic-spiritual form, from the earth. See Jer. 4:22-26. ²Have dominion. Cp. Ps. 8. Heb. 2:6-8. "But now...not yet.")
29 And God said, "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. (Meat = food of all kinds. So we have hunters,fisherman and fruit gatherers to this point. No farmers yet!)
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat:" and it was so.
31 And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, it was very beautiful. And the evening and the morning was day six. (Includes all the races from from vv. 26,27. They are all special)
